Mood
Home isn’t just a space - it’s a feeling. Whether I’m designing an entire home or refreshing a single room, understanding how a space should feel is always the first step.
For me, that starts with a mood board. But a mood board isn’t a design board - it’s where inspiration meets intention. I sift through hundreds of images, narrow them down, establish a colour palette, layer in abstract ideas, and guide material direction.
Mood boards are my anchor, keeping ideas focused and aligned. They set the aesthetic direction, help me communicate the vision clearly to clients and the team, and keep decisions aligned throughout the project.
Early on, I used to think a conversation with clients and a look at their saved images was enough to start a project. But I quickly realised that visuals speak louder than words - everyone’s idea of “modern,” “neutral,” or “classic” is completely unique.
Creating a mood board is how I translate your vision into something tangible, curated, and unmistakably YOU.
