Completed five years ago, this kitchen continues to attract attention for its interpretation of the Australian coastal palette. Inspired by sandy inlets and banksia pods I layered Resene Double Ironside with Double Thorndon Cream creating a sophisticated yet cocooning space that’s fit to cook up a feast! 👩‍🍳

CAPE COD | My clients lived for many years in the US and have lovingly renovated this Cape Cod inspired home. Whilst the house has great bones, and they have key furniture items in place, it’s the supporting pieces and the layering of texture and story that will create the sense of comfort and home they crave.

Sounds simple but as a client once said “I’m starting to realise that the simpler it looks, the more complex it is.”

EX*****ON | The power of considered design is not just in the selections but in their placement. Too often I see costly materials like stone and marble in areas that don’t make sense leaving the project looking disjointed and no $$$ value or visual return is gained from the investment. So, as with all investments, if you’re going to invest, do it wisely!
