Good morning, happy Monday
I'm back! had a lovely visit with my mum & a nice catch up with other family in the cold country. I was pleased to come back to some warmth but we keep getting rain, not much but seems to be most days a shower to 2 at the least.
It's not good weather for the nut harvest & I've only had one load to do since I came home but that just means more sewing time :D, I've been making make up remover wipes & dolly clothes for the markets this Sunday.
My job today however is to put my other sewing machine back together & fingers crossed it is fixed!
I'm back over at "We've Gone Dippy Again" today after my break, I have a custom kids shower cap available for those interested.

Happy Thursday everyone
I had a little fabric delivery yesterday, I'm not meant to be buying more fabric as I have pretty much a fabric store full in my stash as it is 😁 but who, just tell me who could go past these? They will make some pretty fabulous hand towels!
I have done some big hours on the nuts this week but today I am heading off to Tenterfield until sometime next week so I will check in when I can.
Have fun, take care out there & enjoy the sunshine, we are meant to get more rain from Sunday :)

Good morning all, it's a fine morning here on this 1st day of June, the sun is shining brightly & the birds are playing in the birdbaths in the garden, it's a chilly 12 degrees, it certainly has cooled off quite a bit since all the rain.
There is a lovely line up of goodies over at "We've Gone Dippy Again" this morning, I have 3 pretty hand towels waiting for their new owner :)
Today I am back sorting nuts, hubby was able to harvest yesterday for the first time since the rain so I have to get stuck into it a bit later & try & get a fair bit sorted over the next few days as on Thursday I will be heading off to visit my lovely mamma, she is turning 89 on Friday & I just miss that, it's been quite a long time since my last visit.
Well, have a great day, pinch & a punch for the 1st of the month & all that :D

Hi everyone,
How have you been? It's wet again here, very wet in fact, it has been raining every day & night since last Thursday & not going to let up until Friday. We get some periods of sunshine but not for long. So the nut harvest is on hold although I have still been sorting most days the ones that were harvested before the rain.
I have been busy sewing a few dolly clothes ready to take to Six Cats Arts & Crafts tomorrow but hand towels are on hold for a bit, my machine is playing up, clunking badly in reverse & the heavy duty one doesn't like sewing the double layer of towelling for some reason, very frustrating.
So my job today is to pull the machine apart, give it a good clean & see what the problem is, might need to go in for repairs!
Hubby is under the house atm, jacking it up ready to do some restumping, these wet days are good for something, things are getting done around the place that have been on the to do list since we moved in :D
Well that's about it from me, take care out there & have a terrific day :)

Good morning, it's lovely to see full sunshine again, we had 67mm of rain Sunday & Monday & the place is just blooming with life.
I'll be back on the nut sorting today, hubby got a full load yesterday & there is still so much to harvest, with the rain they just all dropped out of the trees but I had a nice 5 day break from it :D
I have plenty to harvest in the vegie orchard too, mandarins, lemons, lemonades, passionfruit, chokos & tomatoes, it's pretty awesome the produce that is coming from that small space these days.
Hubby had been working in the cabin again during the wet days, getting the new bathroom ready for waterproofing & plumbing & also demolishing the wet room(useless space) off the bathroom in our home so it & bathroom can be remodelled into one big bathroom, so plenty going on here to keep us out of mischief 😁
Well I better get moving & in doing so I wish you all a pleasant day, take care out there :)

A very good morning to you all on this very wet Monday, we have had rain every day for over a week now, not that it has been much each day but it all adds up, it has been enough to stop the nut harvest & the garden is enjoying it immensely & I am very happy not to have to water the garden.
The fence is finished around the yard & finally the kangaroos are kept out of my garden, next time I go to town I will be able to get a few plants to make the place pretty 😁
It is dippy day again over at "We've Gone Dippy Again", I have some pretty hand towels available in gorgeous Aussie flora patterns & I will be making more of these this week for the shop Six Cats Arts & Crafts & markets.
Well I better get cracking on the day, I'm a bit slow this morning.

Happy Tuesday to you all, I hope you are keeping well & busy & all that.
I have been doing just the usual things, watching nuts rolling by every day, a bit of sewing & some gardening.
The fence is finished around the yard & so far it is keeping the roos out, yay, so I may finally be able to have a nice garden without everything getting eaten.
I whipped up this little set yesterday for my dip over at "We've Gone Dippy Again", it's a great one for your everyday face care routine, a lovely gift for the young teen learning to care for their skin also fab for taking on that trip away!
I have Gladstone Quality Market this coming Sunday & I have been busy with restocking my make up remover wipes, I haven't had any made for such a long time so will be great to add them back to my stall.
Anyway the nuts are calling, sigh!! better get at it I guess. Have a great day out there :)
