Camphor bowl burnt to the stage of it being on fire. Then added sanding finisher to pop the grain, sanded with 0000 steel wool to remove excess char. Then added grit to 30 000 and friction polished it in to fully seal the colour. Two coats of finishing polish and another coat of beeswax f9r protection. One more coat of beeswax to go then will work on the foot of the bowl. Ive enjoyed this project. Next is a cutting board and a old school megaphone for a customer

Slowly step by painfully step my online site is coming together. Patience is one of my weaknesses, though I know when some things cannot be rushed.

Iron bark burl. The top is sanded to 2000 grit and applies one coat of beeswax. Will add many coats over the coming week whilst I sand the sides and bottom. This was a two stage pour so that I could add a clear on top to create a depth to the piece. Thanks to and for all their help and advice on this technical pigment job and pour.
