Vegas Saint Vendetta.

The energy at Sunday's photoshoot was as high as it was when they opened for us at Art & Eats The Gap last month.

I offered them their first professional photoshoot as a thank you for their performance, and told them to, "Be yourself. Show the same energy!" They didn't disappoint.

More images from that shoot to come. Watch this space.

(Thanks to Kath for being my creative director, and thanks to the great folk at the Brisbane Tramway Museum for allowing us access to their 'secret shed'. An awesome location).

Well that was a fun morning.

The creative juices were running wild in the deep, dusty recesses of the Brisbane Tramway Museum’s back shed.

A first professional photoshoot for future superstars, as a thank you for their very special performance at Art & Eats The Gap.

And then arrived and took things to another level!!

Huge thanks to Katherine Kemp for all your help, not only with the shoot but also the preparation and clothing, and the Brisbane Tramway Museum for their generosity.

This was happening in The Gap tonight, and it was truly wonderful and inspiring.

Jungaji singing and telling stories. The good news is that he’s back at the Topology Creative Hub again tomorrow at 4pm.

Join our great community friends for this free, thought provoking event at the end of May.

“Who would you call at 2am? This simple but powerful question lies at the heart of the fifth event in the popular 'Courageous Conversations' series in The Gap, inviting our diverse community to reflect on the friendships that truly matter.”

Hey everyone! If you're free this evening between 6 and 8 pm, please turn up at Topology Creative Hub and help make 1000 paper cranes for Ryan from You Can Make Some Noise, the band you enjoyed at Art&Eats, to wish him well on his journey through a stem cell transplant for cancer. Come down and show him that the community supports him and is thinking of him.

The story behind one piece of art sold at Art&Eats 2026 was closed off today, when the surprise was revealed.

The wonderful Jess de Groot painted this stunning picture of soldier and dog with the intention of it being a piece that could help raise awareness. She kindly donated all the sale money to Trek2Health.

And the ever generous, Rebecca Hack played the secret postie in helping keep it a surprise. Today, these kind, generous and thoughtful folk joined us at the Trek House to let the proverbial cat out of the bag.

The start of a journey begins with a single camera. At least we think that's the quote!

Certainly for Adele - the winner of the Under 16s photography competition at Art&Eats - for her photo, Guardian of the Mailbox - the next level of photography is now in her hands, with this amazing Canon camera and lens.

Kindly donated for the competition by Brett from Gap Games, it's moments like this that can launch a lifelong hobby, or career.

We wish you well, Adele and can't wait to see some of your amazing images.
