Getting ready for the annual Spring Market Day at EPILO in Woolloongabba (www.epilo.com.au).
Epilo is a beautiful plant shop where you can also grab a coffee and some tasty food.
The Spring Market Day is on Sunday 24th September from 7:00am. There will be 50% off all plants, Makers stalls, Pre-loved fashion, Ceramics and homewares and many many plants.

I have always loved miniatures and was gifted this beautiful vintage study for my birthday. I had the joy of creating this project with some great results. I changed out and altered a few things, painted things, hung some wallpaper and laid a hard wood floor using stained paddle pop sticks. This was a lot of fun to complete. This first photo is a pic from 6 years ago when I first started collecting Monopoly games. My son posted it asking if I had a problem ..... so now I hide my collection in the closet, the second photo. Hahaha. It has grown a bit in the last 6 years. Please keep my secret ! Happy Saturday everyone x

More flowers !
I found a box of flower petals in my stash and spent some mindless time creating these flowers. Sometimes it good just to desensitize from the world.
These flowers will be used in my greeting cards and other crafts.

Well, it's been awhile since I have posted here but wow, what a beginning to a New Year. There's been cheers, changes, chaos and crisis. You never know what life is going to throw at you.
This post is a follow up for my amazing Mum's 80th birthday. She brings joy and laughter to us all and at 80 she is not slowing down.
The flower arrangements were made by Re-invented Treasures as my Mum was always a budding gardener and found her happy place in her garden, so I wanted to surround her with a magical garden theme. The arrangements are personalised with her photos and memories.
Some family members and friends chose an arrangement to take home and the rest we donated to the Retirement Village that my parents live in.
Again, happy birthday to my Mum !
Love you with all of my heart.

I spent the weekend creating some flower arrangements for my Mum's upcoming 80th birthday. I was asked to decorate, and my Mum has always loved being in the garden, so I am trying to surround her with a whimsical flower and garden theme for her special day. A follow up on my dream catching ...
I have now finished this piece. It began as a stick that I found on my nature strip and I immediately knew I wanted to create a dream catcher on it.
This dream catcher has 10 embroidery rings in total and measures 1 metre wide x 1 metre long.
It has hand-made doily flowers throughout and I have attached small mirrors, crystals and feathers to finish it off.
