In Florence for the afternoon and finally found a real embroidery shop! &Cucito Internet wouldn’t work so I couldn’t chat - but I’d love to show you some of the shop.

Big travel day. Exploring the trains through Italy. Fast train at 300km/hr Rome to Milan.
Now on regional train to Turino to stop for the night. As far North as we could go. They have mobility support at stations as well as Gluten free cheeseburgers at McDonalds. Tasted like one Is make myself with Maccas cheese.

We went to Athens today and checked out the Greek embroidery scene. Beautiful pieces, but all stitched.
Was fortunate to visit the Needlework shop. Lots of yarn and tapestry but I did pick up a few kits. ✂️

A slightly mouldy Mykonos today. Loved the white buildings and gluten free cafes. Not loving the sore foot and boot! Hopefully tomorrow will find some Greek embroidery!

Today we were in the city that crosses the continents. Cruise terminal in Europe and Mosque in Asia!! Istanbul is a very interesting place. Unfortunately no stitching shops near us!!! Foot was too sore after ship parked at the furthest place from street!
