Darling Downs Potters' Club & Gallery Gallery Open: Fri & Sat 10am-3pm The Darling Downs Potters’ Club was formed in 1972 by the first graduates of Toowoomba TAFE's Studio Ceramics course.

The Darling Downs Potters’ Club is a not-for-profit organisation providing fellowship, workshop facilities and gallery for potters and artisans from the Darling Downs region. Clubrooms were set up at a small former scout hall at Drayton. In 1979, with the help of a grant from the Queensland Treasury Department, the club moved to premises on the corner of Herries & West Streets, Toowoomba, where it

has remained to this day. The building was named The Potters’ Gallery and the club became incorporated in 1980. Pottery classes for adults are held several times a year and members exhibitions are held throughout the year.

It was clay play day on Sunday… and the wheel throwing workshop was a great afternoon in the studio. Everyone leaned into the process and embraced the mess to create some beautiful masterpieces that will be glazed and fired for participants ready to pick up in a few weeks 🌸✨ thanks to pottery extraordinaires Sam and Lisa for sharing your wisdom.
