In 2024 a new customer asked me to make her one of my sold out Perla 01 vases for her new beach house. I did. She loved it. Her Perla collection grew and grew.

A few weeks ago I got another message from her…

During the installation of her new kitchen, the cabinetmakers broke her treasured vase. She was devastated!

“I need to beg you to make me another vase.”

“I can’t not have another....I will sell you a kidney!”

“Pretty please.”

This hit different. It was more than kind words. More than a normal purchase.

It was proof of the impact this piece had on her home. Of the void it would leave not being there. But not just *a* missing vase —— *that* vase.

I truly could not imagine a bigger compliment of my work.

This is the feeling I hope my pieces bring to all of your spaces…and I hope you never have to find out this way how much you love them!

Oh, and yes…. she got another vase!
