Hi friends! Long time between posts! Whilst there’s been little on the grid lately there’s been lots happening in the real world… and I have moved away from client projects this year & started our own tiny homes journey. We now have one almost finished & on the market and another two framed up & on their way for windows & cladding.

I moved back into the corporate sector this May, getting back into the swing of a full time office role has been awesome, but left me very little time to focus on client projects! Tiny homes gives me the creative outlet I enjoy and the freedom I need right now in not answering to clients & having strict deadlines! Keep a look out on our stories for progress updates!

It’s time for the second last step in our Valhalla Design Process~

Step 5: Source

Once we have a final list of products approved by you, it’s time for us visit our various suppliers and arrange for the supply of your items. Once supply availability of all your items is confirmed we will invoice you for them and arrange for their delivery when you have made payment.

There are a range of different options regarding delivery of your items. You can let us know what you’d like to do as we approach this stage of the process. You may choose to have the items stored or delivered to your home. We will discuss these options and any costs associated.

Tomorrow I’ll take you through our finale stage… the most rewarding & exciting step!!!

This week I’m taking you guys on the step by step journey of the Valhalla Design Process. 🛋️🏡🪴

Yesterday I explained how Step 1- The Initial Consultation stage works. Read on to continue the Design Journey….

Step 2: Concept Preparation

So, you loved your initial consultation so much you want to keep working together to create your dream space!
Of course, who doesn’t want to create amazing professionally finished spaces to enjoy!!

I’ll create a project proposal for you with in depth details outlining what you’ll receive after this stage, the benefits of your investment and an agreement for you to sign.

I take all of the things we discussed in the initial consultation and start to work on your tailored documentation which I’ll deliver to you during the concept presentation.

The concept stage is the design blueprint for your home. Depending on the scale of your project, the timeframe for completing this process will vary.

The documentation I will prepare and deliver to you can include: Mood/Concept Boards, Colour Schemes, Floor Plans and Scale Drawings, Product Samples and a detailed Stockist List including links to all the products in your Concept Boards, saving you hours of time!!

The research, the decision-making, and the development of a style is all taken care of saving you hours of scrolling and overwhelming decision making. The benefit of a trained eye ensures you achieve a cohesive seamless design that is guaranteed to simulate and flow throughout your home, avoiding costly mistakes and unnecessary purchases.
