Mug making class with this Saturday 23rd May 10-12pm - $160. Make two mugs, choose your glaze and have your pieces fired, ready to take home and use everyday. This is such a beautiful relaxing class as you hand build and attach handles, byo coffee or glass of vino and come solo or with a friend.

Apologies for the delay in opening applications for the artist/ writers retreat but the start to the year was a busy one for me. The purpose of the retreat is to relax, immerse your self in nature and spend some time just being without the pressure to work, create or tend to the daily grind. Applications are $20 and there are two places available for a 3 night stay timed Monday-Thursday from June-August. To give you an indication of applicants there were 13 applicants across early career and established artists and writer last year and I actually gave three people a stay because it was so hard to choose! Winter is a beautiful time here to be in nature, soak in the hot tub, hike the trails, explore the rock pools and visit the local bathhouse or hammam. Any questions ask away and please share far and wide. ❤️

I just opened the kiln on a small batch of the boobjewel boxes -created many moons ago when I was closing a form on the wheel and stopped work to answer a call from my mum, when I got back to the wheel I realised it was a ni**le on top and it became a Mothersday gift that year with a note - thanks for all the milk. They have been one of my most popular pieces, bought for mums, midwives, doulas and people undergoing masectomies. I recently stopped breastfeeding after a 6.5years and I understand why many mark this occasion- the closeness, the exhaustion, all the good times and the hard times. These were meant to be ready to post before Mother’s Day but as life has it Sunny and I came down with colds last week so they are ready now ❤️ I wish you all the love for mothersday yesterday - the good times and the hard ones too.
