Why I started Scrunched By Chloe
Well, where does me journey start???
Like most of us....Covid-19 has had a major impact on my life. I was stuck at home in self isolation due to my chronic illnesses. I was doing the same thing Day-in Day-out, and it was starting to wear me out. I started trying to find things to do that gave me a purpose during the day. My Grandmother game me one of her old sewing machines and this was the game changer!
Soon enough, I was googling away at what items I could make, when I stumbled across a YouTube video on how to make scrunchies. That is when the idea of maybe one day.... I might be able to sell them. So I started to practice, and I practiced, and I practiced. Soon enough I started selling to my family and friends and I was getting lots of positive feedback from them. I also had people encouraging me to make a page to get people with whom I wouldn't have contact with otherwise.
I can say, since making this page and selling my scrunchies, I have gained this sense of accomplishment and feel a sense of purpose whilst still “working” from home. There may only be 94 people that have liked my page so far but it’s still 94 more than if I hadn't.
