⚖️ MEASURE TWICE. MIX ONCE.

Resin isn't the place to guess!

Your resin and hardener need to be combined in their specified ratio so the chemical reaction can happen correctly.

For example:

🐚 Coral Cast = 2:1
🌊 Deep Reef = 3:1
🏝️ Shoreline Shield = 2:1

A small measuring mistake can create a BIG problem.

So:

✔️ Use accurate measuring equipment
✔️ Follow the correct ratio
✔️ Check whether your product specifies weight or volume
✔️ Mix thoroughly

Good resin art starts before the pour.

🚨 RESIN MYTH! 🚨

“If it's hard, it's fully cured.”

Not necessarily!

A resin piece can feel hard on the surface before it has reached its full cure.

That's why it's important to follow the recommended cure time for your particular resin.

For example, Deep Reef lists a 48-to-72-hour cure (set time), while Coral Cast and Shoreline Shield list approximately 24 hours at 25°C.
A full cure for use is 7 days.
Temperature and project conditions can affect curing.

So…

Don't rush the resin!

Your beautiful creation deserves the time it needs. 💕

🫧 BUBBLES… THE RESIN ARTIST'S ARCH NEMESIS! 😂

Seeing bubbles in your resin?

Try these habits:

✨ Mix slowly
✨ Avoid whipping air into your resin
✨ Scrape the sides and bottom of your mixing container
✨ Give bubbles time to rise when appropriate
✨ Keep your mould and workspace clean
✨ Follow the manufacturer's instructions for bubble removal

And remember:

🔥 Heat can help with bubbles — but too much heat can cause problems.

Always use heat carefully and appropriately for your particular resin and project.
Isopropyl Alcohol can be used to pop bubbles especially in silicone moulds.
Sometimes the best bubble-fighting tool isn't more heat…

It's better mixing technique.
