When I first started this little side gig, my intention was to encourage young people to embrace their imagination… use it in their play and of course, to make their spaces just that little bit cuter. 😝
When I created the very first donut🍩, it was for my first daughter Lucy, who was, and is, the master of imaginative play. She was my inspiration for so many items and of course tried and tested them all. 🥰
As we know… life goes through seasons and at the moment, my season does not allow me the mental space and time I would love to dedicate to By Lucy Alan. 😔As a result, I have decided to temporarily close down my website and social media pages and focus on riding this season out.
It certainly is not goodbye forever, but it is goodbye for now. 💛
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you. For your words of encouragement, for sharing my posts and commenting on my photos, for purchasing my products and for loving them as much as my two girls do. 💕
My hope is that when I return to the sewing table, it will be met with as much enthusiasm and love as I have been shown so far.
Until then, what products I do have left have been sent to Wattle & Twine if you are desperate to grab a few more for the collection.
