For 27 years, Di has worked with ceramics and having completed her Bachelor of Visual arts Degree in 1994, you can feel at ease knowing you will receive friendly and professional tuition. Over the years Di has taught hundreds of women, children and the odd bloke of all levels of ability the joys of clay work, from Hobby ceramics to hand building clay, mosaics and wheel work at her home business, C
layworx. Aside from teaching children, adults, people with disabilities and retirees looking to fill their spare time; Di has also hosted many external classes at Schools, Holiday Care Programs, Retirement Homes & other various Community events. While Clayworx offers many different products available to purchase directly such as clay, green ware, bisque ware, tools and glazes, other services available to the public include firings and Di is also able to make custom orders. Don’t be misled, pottery & ceramics is not just about brown, bland clay, you can make some really beautiful and interesting pieces through wonderful colours and different paintings. So if you’re looking for a fun way to learn something new, book a creative kid’s party, or an interesting way to meet new people, feel free to come along to one of the Clayworx classes. Each class provides a very friendly, relaxed social atmosphere and hosts a morning or afternoon tea – all are welcome to bring along a plate. Adult classes are $10 + cost of materials and firings (Senior’s Discount available)
Children’s classes are $15 **Bookings essential**
