🦺 SAFETY FIRST FOR FY27 🦺

If you've visited McCahills recently, you've probably met Fiona's friendly face. This week, she's helping us launch a renewed focus on safety for the new financial year.

Our new Safety Wheel, introduced by our HSEQ Manager and now proudly displayed at the front office, highlights the key hazards our team may encounter across the business — from vehicle incidents and manual handling through to fatigue, hazardous substances, environmental spills and mental wellbeing.

Each month, we'll focus on one section of the wheel, providing refresher training for existing team members and ensuring new staff are equipped with the knowledge and safe work methods needed to manage these risks.

At McCahills, safety isn't just a policy or a toolbox talk. It's about looking out for your mates, protecting our customers and making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

If you’ve visited McCahills Organics, chances are you’ve already met Hannah’s friendly face.
As our Administration Manager, Hannah is the go-to person for just about everything and is always happy to help with a smile. Being a McCahill, she’s been around the business since she was a little girl and has now spent the last 6 years working within the company.
What many people don’t know is that Hannah’s talents extend well beyond the office. From compost turners and bobcats to excavators and plenty in between, she’s capable of operating just about every piece of machinery on site.
Hannah plays a huge part in keeping things running smoothly each day, and we genuinely couldn’t do it without her.
If you haven’t met Hannah yet, next time you’re in store be sure to say hello! 👋
