It’s been a while! 🫠

Just nudging on a month since we’ve shown our face around here… 🫣

Life is a little extra busy these days now that I’ve stepped back into the classroom, our two littlest are back amongst all the daycare germs 🤧 and our big boy continues to make us so proud with all of his achievements at big school, all whilst balancing FIFO life.

The lonely laser is sitting idle, aside from our custom drinkware orders. The ideas are still dancing around in my head, but the time to actually execute them, play around and create just isn’t there right now.

So, I’ve got nothing else really to say apart from… hello! 👋🏼 We’re still here, and thank you if you are too. 🥹🤍

Back where it all began… our Name Builder. 🥹🤍

This was one of the very first designs I brought to life when launching Ally Ally Whiskers & Co.

I was equal parts nervous and excited to share this concept with the world, because it’s not your cookie-cutter name trace, write and wipe activity. As a teacher and a Mum myself, I value learning through play, and I wanted to create something you could reach for again and again to make learning to write their name fun for your little one, and a little less of a chore for you.

I’m beyond grateful to the incredible Kacey Kacey Maree Photography for capturing these beautiful images for us. Not only was she our amazing wedding photographer, but she has supported us on this little venture since day one. We couldn’t be more grateful to have someone so special in our corner. 🤍

Thank you so much to everyone who has joined us on this venture so far. We’re still figuring it all out daily, but we’re so incredibly grateful for your continued trust, support and belief in our little business. ✨

A little slower around here lately… 🤍

Since heading back to work, my laser days look a little different. It’s not often I get to create in daylight anymore.

Today, on my day off, I squeezed in a couple of custom YETIs between baking, fairy garden building and soaking up some time with my little people.

This little business has always been built around family, and, I’m so grateful I still get to create beautiful pieces for yours.

We celebrated a very special family member’s 60th birthday over the weekend, and my husband and I were tasked with creating something delicious for guests to nibble on before dinner. 🤍

At the last minute, we decided to make the board itself part of the gift.

With a beautiful solid timber board, we engraved her favourite flowers and finished it with the handwritten names of our children. 🥹

Sealed with food-safe wax, it was quickly covered with a delicious spread from JK’s Deli , before making another appearance later in the evening for dessert.

A gift that was enjoyed on the day, but one she’ll keep for years to come. 🤍

Stepping outside my comfort zone… and I’m so glad I did. 🤍

I’d never made a first year milestone board before, so when this customer trusted me with bringing her vision to life, I was equal parts excited and nervous.

Seeing it all come together alongside the matching cake topper has reminded me why I love what I do. Every new design teaches me something, and I’m so grateful to the wonderful customers who trust me to create these special keepsakes.

Back 🤍

After a very welcomed reset exploring the NT with our little family, we’re home, feeling refreshed and so excited to be back creating in our little workshop ✨
