Since 1981 Carpet Country has been Gippslands largest supplier of wall, floor and window coverings Traralgon: Shop 2 / 161 Argyle St. Traralgon 3844. Sale 3850.

Since our inception over 40 years ago, Carpet Country has been the largest supplier and
installer of domestic and commercial floor coverings in the Gippsland region. Our business
has evolved steadily throughout this period to now include 2 stores across Gippsland and
more recently The Country Tiler in both locations. The growth of
our business into the East Gippsland area has significantly increas

ed our capacity to service
the needs of all Gippslander’s. With a team of 30+ installers, and a large warehousing
capacity, we can handle jobs of any size with absolute confidence. Carpet Country also boasts a dedicated commercial division capable of handling jobs of any
size throughout our region and beyond where necessary. We also have the ability to co –
ordinate any commercial works with our Commercial division and Interior design team who
form an integral part of our service offer. Throughout our history we have been involved in
some of Gippsland’s major developments, a few of note include:
• Bridges On Argyle Motel (Multi level complex, In addition to the floor coverings, our
designer handled the entire interior / exterior spec process)
• Latrobe Convention Centre and Motel
• Dalkeith Heights Independent living community.
• Sale Stadium
• Lardner Park complex
• Maffra Hospital
Through our commercial division we have also handled a variety of maintenance contracts
throughout the Gippsland region. Some of the contracts we have previously / currently held
include:
• DHS Morwell Region
• Defence Housing Wellington / East Gippsland
• Workways – all offices across Victoria.
• CEH Gippsland Region. In addition to our daily retail business we also handle the supply and installation of all floor coverings for major
