A visit to Crieff today. Afternoon tea at the local golf club, a walk thru town, and a wander thru Bill's lovely garden 🏡. It was a fitting end to our Scottish journey. Our journey now goes back south, and homeward bound.

What an amazing day at Potfest Scone palace. About 100 potters exhibiting. The weather wasn't great...it is Scotland! Met some amazing people, all very happy to share their techniques and knowledge. Even after 30 years experience, I still learnt a lot. Here's a few pics of the work on show.

Castle Forbes. The estate is 6000acres. Met the present Lord Forbes, he showed us around part of his home. Amazing. My grandmother was a Forbes, so I am related! How cool is that. There is a tapestry on a wall, given to them by Mary Queen of Scots! Some of the needlework supposedly done by Mary herself.

Scotland has turned on the weather for us today. Loch Lomond in the pouring rain. But it's so beautiful. Waterfalls everywhere here in the Highlands. I can't get over all the rhodedendrons growing wild. Absolutely huge bushes. Mainly purple.

A ride in the Falkirk wheel, a visit to the Kelpies, which are mythical Scottish water horses. Then to stand where Robert the Bruce raised the Scottish flag after he beat the English at Bannockburn. Incredible.
