Next stop on the caravan of craft. Mackay CraftAlive at The Big Shed at Mackay Showgrounds. Lots of specials available for the attendees of the show. Metres of fabric @$10 per metre, 1/2 metres @$5. Threads from $3 reel. Panels and templates all at $5 each. They were extremely popular at Townsville last week. We shop from 9am to 4pm today, Friday and Saturday.

Just played 9 holes at Bowen Golf Course . The course is right on the sea shore. Lots of interesting breezes, little creeks,gullies and dams.Extremely pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning in the Whitsundays.

Just about pack up time for our second day of CraftAlive in Townsville. Two busy days with lots of Just Patchwork stock going home to many quilters. Last day tomorrow so don’t miss out on a good show. Next week we are off to Mackay to do it all again.

No time for golf today as we were busy packing stock for CraftAlive Adelaide starting 10th July to 12th July. We will have lots and lots of specials on fabric and threads. I’ve a class on at 2.30pm each day teaching working with wool felt, teaching embroidery stitches so be prepared for a busy day if you are coming to the show. Our stand is No84. If anyone needs any Sew Ezi tables or accessories let me know straight away as we leave tomorrow.

Just Patchwork is exhibiting at Craftalive Canberra next week from 21st to 24th May. Wee Birdee is my teaching project for the show. Enjoy working with wool felt, embellishing with embroidery stitches. The kit has pattern, wool felt, needle and a reel of thread included. See you there at the EPIC.

Setting up for the Mid Coast Quilters Get Together at Old Bar Bowling Club hosted by Happy Crafters. 138 quilters attended and enjoyed meeting with members from 14 different quilt groups in the area. The room looked amazing.
