I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all those that supported Project AV and myself through 2020.

2020 is now over and Project AV also draws to a close.
2021 will see a new beginning trading as Commercial Audio Visual. We have rebranded for several reasons. One is to stop being called Project Avenue and another is that a lot of people do not understand what “AV” actually stands for.

Congratulations on getting through 2020, the year that has been like no other in our lifetime. Let’s all band together to make the most of 2021.

Thanks to Nightlife Music for the continued support through these events and for the use of CrowdDJ.
Numbers have been growing at these events with choosing music while watching the racing as become a drawcard.
The GPS Rowing was a success even with the rain in the first few weekends. The Head of the River Finals got the best of the weather for the series.
Let's all hope the Coronavirus settles down and the girls get their opportunity later in July.
Thanks to all who supported the event, the racing and choose their favourite tunes.
PROJECT AV enjoyed being a part of it and looks forward to the next event.

International Education Services (IES) Audio Visual System by PROJECT AV

IES Level 2 fit-out contains 10 learning spaces, 3 of which had dual projector systems that could display the same content on each. The dual projectors could also display different content if required.
Epson Interactive Ultra Short Throw Projectors were used in most spaces with Hitachi/Maxell Projectors in the others. All projectors were controlled by a simple Jed Micro Push Button Wall Plate next to the HDMI and USB input plates.
With a simple speaker system, all worked very well.

Ballistic Beer Springfield Audio System by PROJECT AV

A new audio system was installed throughout. We reused some old speakers outside on the front and rear decks to save on costs. The venue was divided up into 4 zones.
This system was done on a budget with a great result for the owner and those that enjoy a bit of background music with their Ballistic Beer.

The Landsborough Pub AV Upgrade by PROJECT AV

A new audio system was installed throughout. We reused some old hardware to save on costs. We divided the pub up into 8 zones and installed speakers in places that had never had audio in the past. A dual-microphone system was also installed that can roam through the whole venue and outside to the deck.
Two channels of video are modulated from the Nightlife PC in Full HD and two channels of audio play through the Bar, Restaurant and all other areas.
CrowdDJ allows patrons to select their favourite songs.
Using Yamaha speakers, Yamaha DSP with Controller App and Crown amplifiers, the 150+ year old pub has never sounded better.

A month after a Melbourne bar was fined more than $200,000 for failing to pay the correct fees, music licensing bodies have dismissed a call from restaurant and cafes owners to lower the fees for using copyrighted music in their establishments.
