Meet Dapper Diver, my latest painting.
A little Australian Fairy Penguin with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure.
As dusk settles over the coastline & the ocean turns silver beneath the moonlight, this tiny traveller begins his nightly journey home.
With determined little feet & a proud stance, he marches across the sand after a day spent diving through the cool southern waters in search of food.
Though small in stature, the Fairy Penguin is one of Australia's most remarkable seabirds—fearless, resilient & endlessly charming.
Inspired by the enchanting nightly penguin parades that take place along Australia's southern shores, Dapper Diver celebrates the wonder of our unique wildlife and the quiet magic that unfolds when the sun goes down.
