I finished my beanie Monday night and it definitely needed to be blocked so I decided to use a balloon 🎈. I washed my son’s beanie as well then inflated the balloon inside each beanie so not to stretch the fibres. I don’t know if this is a thing but I am super happy with the results 😃. I just need to make a Pom Pom for mine.

My youngest Jayden turns 21 this year and has requested a quilt for his milestone birthday.

Today I finished the quilt top. The pattern and fabric was purchased , the pattern is called Joshua’s quilt. It was a fun make and I will be hand quilting this one, perfect winter stitching project.

I had two days holiday leave last week and it allowed me the time to reset and have the time to create. Absolute food for my soul ☺️🧶.

I found this make I started a little while ago for my daughter , time to finish this beauty.

I have always loved and am using Finch 10ply 100% Cotton for this crochet square blanket. I don’t have a pattern I only have hand written notes so not sure where this came from.

I had a plan for these liberty lovelies 😃. Great to have some time to plan and create, it has taken a minute or three for me to feel like sewing again.

I must admit it’s only recently that I’ve started to feel the pull to sew and create again. I’m really looking forward to the Cotton Rose Reunion, being around like-minded, creative people always sparks something in me. Hopefully I’ll have a few projects to share on the day. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has been working on 💕
