THANKYOU to all the lovely people who have supported me over the years, who made it possible to grow as much as we have. From the first classroom in the shop, then a second small classroom out the back to now with our lovely big new class room extension that gets used twice a day by different groups with Sit 'N Sews having waiting lists to join. I have made so many new friends and acquaintances and learned so much along the way. I could not have done it without my two amazing employees Jan and Lisa who are so talented and whip up the most amazing shop samples, are loved by all the ladies and who have become great friends xx Can't forget the great teachers, especially my regulars, Wendy, Jane and Jacqui. Most of all, I wouldn't be here with out my amazing accountant, handyman and helper, my hubby Andrew, the silent partner and supporter and my beautiful kids xx

A new panel by Helen Godden called 'Birds of a Feather' has arrived in store. 12 different hand painted Australian birds sit perched on branches in each block.

Helen writes: 'Growing up in Australia means I am so lucky to see and hear colourful birds every single day. No matter where I live in Australia — city or country — not a moment passes without the gentle, joyful song from outside my studio window or a curious flash of colour as I step into my garden. Australia has so many varieties of birds, all with such beautiful colours and feather patterns, flying freely and sharing their wonderful songs of joy. They represent everything that is positive in this world — colour, music and freedom. I hope you enjoy creating with my fabrics, as they represent a piece of my daily joy — Birds of a Feather'.

Remember the Lollies Wheel quilt we taught a few years back? It was a Jen Kingwell design using her Lollies range of fabrics at the time. If you missed out now is your chance to have a go with a new range of Lollies in a Hazel colorway. They feature 8 unique fabrics that have eight coordinating designs across the width of the fabric, offering 64 total prints. We have cut extra wide half metres to enable you to cut four 5" WOF from each piece. Exactly what is needed for the blocks. Each bundle costs $144.
