Same Frosted Pinecone Bundle, but a very different look for the final card from this week’s Online Class to Go.

I used Timeless Metallic Specialty Paper for the pinecone detail, and used a darker, Early Espresso base for the pinecones, then added them over a background of Country Woods DSP embossed with the Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder. The Mossy Meadow pine branches tucked behind them keep the colours fairly natural, while the gold gives it just a little shimmer.
I left plenty of open space around the sentiment rather than adding additional elements to the centre.

The second Frosted Pinecone card from this week’s Online Class to Go proves this bundle definitely doesn’t need to be used just for Christmas cards.

I kept the colours natural for this one, using Pecan Pie pinecones, Mossy Meadow foliage and a neutral background. The Sunset Shimmer Vellum detail on the pinecones adds a little shine, while the Neutrals Jute bow keeps the overall look quite rustic.

There’s lots of texture in the background too, but the simple colour palette stops it from becoming too busy.
I made this one a Thinking of You card, which makes the bundle much more useful beyond Christmas crafting.

There was no holding back on the snow for the first Frosted Pinecone card from this week’s Online Class to Go!

I wanted the large pinecone to look as though it had been sitting outside after a fresh fall of snow (yes, we do get snow in some parts of Australia!), so I used the final of the bundle’s masks to add Versamark, then heat emboss in white.
I added some additional die cut pine branches, overlapping behind the pinecone to create additional depth and texture.
There’s a lot of texture in this card and it was a lot of fun to create!
