Catch me down at the Rockingham Sunday markets this Sunday!

I’ll be bringing these fresh new “green swamp” handwoven tote bags I've been working on, ready for all your market hauls and beach days.

I’m also packing my organic sunflower seed packs, quite a few smaller tapestries, macramé wall pieces, macramé plant hanging baskets, and heaps more earthy goodies for your space. 🌿

Plus, if you're looking for some good energy, I’ve got a huge stack of gem stones, mineral stones, and some crystal moon catchers to bring all the good light. ✨🌙

Prices are marked down super low, so cruise on by and grab yourself a bargain.

Honestly, with Xmas just around the corner already (seriously, where has this year gone?! 🤯), it's the perfect time to score some unique gifts.

See ya Sunday! ✌️🌞

When I say 200% recycled, I really mean it! ♻️🌿

A few months back, someone on a community page asked what everyone does with their leftover scrap thread. Usually, I just chuck all my scraps into a bag without any future plans. But that question sparked an idea—why not recycle my leftover recycled scraps into something completely unique?

I saved every single shade of green thread left over from my large "Silent Echoes of The Western Australian Typography flow" tapestry, and with some helping hands, tied every scrap together to weave this new piece.

Now I have a dilemma and need your input! Do I transform this into a couple of chunky, highly-textured tote bags, or do I keep it exactly as it is—raw, scruffy, and perfectly imperfect?

Let me know what you think I should do in the comments! 🧵💚

Fresh off the loom and channeling some wild West Coast soul. 🌊

This piece is a reflection of the spirit of Gathaagudu (Shark Bay)—meaning "two waters" in the language of the Malgana Traditional Custodians.

I wanted to capture that raw, aerial beauty where the diverse earth melts straight into turquoise tides.

The colors and textures in this gradient are deeply inspired by the incredible geological contrasts of the bay's coast:

〰️ Red Sand (Peron Sandstone)

〰️ White Sand

〰️️ Tamala Limestone

〰️ Saline Soils (Birridas)

〰️ Shell Deposits

〰️ Mud and Clay

Over 35 hours at my hand-built loom, this became a slow, grounding meditation. Woven entirely from rescued textiles and raw jute twine to keep it gentle on the planet.

Shark Bay is a sacred threshold where the arid desert kisses the coast. It’s incredibly inspiring how the Malgana people blend 30,000+ years of knowledge with modern science to protect this sanctuary—caring for massive carbon-sinking seagrass meadows and ancient stromatolites.

Just a small tribute to that perfect balance of land, sea, and enduring custodianship. Hope this brings some earthy calm to your timeline today. ✌️🌅

Meet 'Kimberley Rust & Tide'

I really wanted to capture that raw, high-contrast energy and bring a little piece of that wild coastline indoors.

This tapestry was a slow build on the wooden loom, taking roughly 30 hours to complete. It pulls together all those warm terracotta, mustard, and deep aqua tones.

I used a heavily textured mix of recycled thrift-store yarn, organic cotton macrame cord, and natural jute twine to try and mimic the ruggedness of those northern gorges and pristine beaches.
Nothing quite beats the untouched beauty of WA.

Have you ever made it up to the Kimberley? 🧡✨

I've been doing a slow clear-out this week and stumbled on a little coastal time capsule—an old box of shells I tucked away years ago, back when beachcombing and collecting was just the norm here in WA.

Couldn't bear to box them back into the dark. Instead, I let them breathe, arranging them out on some earthy painted canvases. Just getting my hands on natural textures and piecing them together without overthinking was the perfect grounding reset.

There’s actually a lot of truth to finding your flow state. I saw a UWA study the other day that found just two hours a week of zero-pressure creativity does massive things for your mental health. It’s wild how making a little space to use your hands and creating something can completely shift your headspace.

No pressure, no rules. Just good for the soul. If you’ve got some old treasures stashed away, pull them out. Slow down, get a little creative, and see where the vibe takes you, feel free to share your creations below ✨🧡

Project complete ✌️

I Wanted to capture that beach sunset energy, so i hand wove this using the usual recycled materials and threads. Jute braided into handles and hessian to line the inside.

I was really aiming for the feeling of a calm summer beach sunset, I think the colours really came through.

Who else needs a dose of summer sunset energy right now?

Hey! Popped in to share this new eco-friendly tote I just wrapped up 🌅

Honestly so happy on how this one turned out. I wove this organic-colored rainbow tapestry entirely by hand on my homemade wooden loom.

It’s giving all the earthy, sunset coastal vibes.

Keeping it kind to the planet is always the priority, so it's crafted from a mix of recycled and thrift-store wools, held together with raw organic jute twine.

I’ve really found my flow state lately. I've figured out my own beach bag pattern template, and I'm cruising through the weaving about three times as fast now.

Hope you're all having a chill weekend ✨

Wrapped up this project just as June came to a close. 🌊

I spent the entire month slowly bringing this beach bag to life from start to finish.

The body is a hand-woven tapestry featuring colors made entirely from recycled and repurposed merino wool threads, all stitched together by hand using organic jute twine.

I added earthy hessian for the side panels and shaped the handles out of recycled jute. To make sure it holds its shape through all the wear and tear, it’s fully lined inside with hessian and buckram interfacing.

It turned out pretty massive—big enough to fit 6 whole beach towels. Perfect for lazy summer beach days, strong enough to handle a load of groceries and the perfect size overnight bag.

I really enjoyed making this bag, mainly because I've never made one before and I do love a creative challenge especially by hand. (No sewing machines were used in the process). 🙂

This isn’t just a wall hanging; it’s a heartfelt labour of over 150 hours of pure hand-crafting passion.
Three weeks of unwavering dedication, weaving each thread with love and purpose. I poured my soul into this creation, driven by a desire to craft something truly meaningful.

🧵 Mindful Materials
Sustainability fuels my spirit — it’s the heartbeat behind every piece. This one is a vibrant mosaic tapestry of textures, carefully sourced with true intention:
Recycled materials given a new lease on life, whispering stories of the past.
Thrift shop wool and threads, rich with history and character.
Organic wool threads that bring a natural, comforting warmth.
Organic cotton macramé thread, soft yet structured, embodying gentle strength.
Organic jute twine, raw and earthy, a tribute to the untamed beauty of the bush.
