Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop - a painting class in Newcastle - where you will learn how to paint with acrylics and learn how to express your creativity on canvas.

Your teacher, Jem Gillard, is a scientific illustrator who is passionate about the natural world and communicating ideas through visual storytelling. Jem enjoys experimenting with new techniques and explores scientific illustration through both traditional and digital practices, bringing a creative and encouraging approach to every class.

Open to all skill levels, every session is fully guided so beginners and more experienced painters alike receive the support and encouragement they need. You’ll experiment with colour, build confidence, and enjoy the creative process in a relaxed, friendly environment.
