Exhibition earthenware charger by Tashiro Ichiroji (TA-I) circa 1878. This piece has been made in the MASTER OF THE ROCKS pattern, with tea-dust rim and stunning landscape scenes of the verso. The level of workmanship in this piece is absolutely incredible, befitting a piece that is of exhibition quality. The blank is Kutani and the piece carried his signature on a cloth label of TA-I for Tashiro Ichiroji. Tashiro began his business in 1878 and exhibited an earthenware ornamental plate and charger at the 1878 Paris exhibition held between the 1st of May and 10th of November.

Tashiro died in 1902 and was the most successful of the Tashiro clan of entrepreneurs. Measures 43cm in diameter.

Sir Arthur Ernest Streeton (8 April 1867 – 1 September 1943) was an Australian landscape painter and a leading member of the Heidelberg School, also known as Australian Impressionism.

This rare signed print is of HMS Repulse moored of Kirribilli during the 1924 visit to Sydney of the British Fleet. Fully signed by Arthur Streeton bottom left and has the full provenance. This print was personally dedicated to a Mr King in 1928 by Sir Arthur Streeton.

Stevens and Williams amethyst and opaline Matsu-no-ke based circa 1890. This design was created by Frederick Carder (1863 - 1963)

Its distinctive feature is the presence of applied and tooled sprays of blossoms influenced by Japanese designs. Carder also used the design at Steuben Glass Works in Corning, New York, in the 1920s.
