TnT with a Twist – Saturday 15th August!

Join us at Feltwest regular Saturday meet-up for a special guest presentation by June Lynn from Bilby Yarns WA.

Have you ever thought about what triggers a dream, or the journey you need to take to achieve them? I have always been interested in textiles, making my own clothes on a treadle sewing machine at the age of 17. But how did I become so passionate about West Australian wool?

It really began in Nhulunbuy NT in 1984 when I started weaving and spinning but in 1993 I had the opportunity to support local sheep/wool producers and that led me to producing my own West Australian wool tops and yarns in 1994.

Come along on Saturday 15th August – I would love to share my journey with you.

Note for anyone in Geraldton & surrounding areas ....
bilby yarns will be travelling to Geraldton on friday morning ( tomorrow) and will be in that area until monday morning. 🙂

We travelled up on inland road to Mingenew .. (has the best bakery)... then headed towards geraldton via dongara ... then in the middle of nowhere, was a red traffic light ! ...
Could only hapoen in Australia !! 🙂

A 'pre-loved' 2014 model Ashford electronic spinner has come into store for sale @$425. It is in immaculate condition and has lots of jumbo bobbins.

July is busy with 'uses for wool' promotions & Melanian's 50th anniversary year engagements.

August ... we will be in 🚙 Geraldton 7-9/10. If you have orders or need anything delivered 'en-route' please dont hesitate to ask, but give us plenty of notice. ☎️📞

Also in August, (15th) we will be 📣 talking about 🐑 and wool at Craft House for Feltwest

September is always busy with Perth Show preparations. This year we will participate with a 50th anniversary display for Melanian Sheep Breeders in the Wool Lane in 🧶🐏Jim Horwood Sheep Pavillion.
Yes we will need volunteers

😍In the meantime, there is plenty of wool to enjoy and lots of preloved spinning wheels & new equipment at our Willagee store.

The hours we advertise (ie tues, wed, fri, 1st sat ea.month 11-3) are when we guarantee there will be someone instore to assist you. However, if you need to visit outside these hours, please do ask.. phone, email or message.
