The Sanicom 1 is designed for commercial environments where reliable greywater drainage is required but conventional gravity drainage isn't always practical.

As a compact, floor-standing greywater lifting station, the Sanicom 1 can handle wastewater from applications including sinks, washing machines, dishwashers, showers and baths. It features a 14L tank, 2 inlets and can pump wastewater vertically up to 11 metres. It can also handle wastewater temperatures of up to 90°C for short periods.

When existing drainage infrastructure limits the design, a pumped solution can create new possibilities.

For PetO’s Eltham store, a commercial dog wash needed to be installed in a specific location to provide convenient access for customers. However, there was no conventional drainage available at the installation point, with the existing connection located across the store.

The solution: Sanicom 1.

Selected for this higher-use commercial application, the Sanicom 1 enabled wastewater from the dog wash to be pumped approximately 5 metres vertically and 25 metres horizontally to the existing drainage connection.

This provided the project team with greater flexibility around the location of the dog wash, without requiring the existing drainage infrastructure to dictate the layout.

For architects, engineers and commercial plumbing contractors, pumped drainage solutions can provide a practical alternative where gravity drainage isn't feasible — particularly in retrofit, refurbishment and constrained commercial environments.
