The longest relationship I’ve ever had. He takes all my money and still wants to see me every quarter. 😂

LIE!!!

OMG this government’s spin is next level.

They know that small businesses can’t absorb more costs so it’s the consumer who ends up paying

WE ALWAYS DO!

Fire the liar - Albo and his government HAS TO GO!

Apparently banning a surcharge makes the cost disappear. ✨

Except… it doesn’t.

The banks still get paid.
Small businesses still get charged.
And ultimately, consumers will likely end up paying for it anyway, because businesses have to account for those costs somewhere, often through higher prices.

And here’s the kicker: when prices rise to cover those costs, GST is calculated on that higher sale price too.

So the bank gets its money.
The government collects GST.
Small business gets another cost to juggle.
And the consumer still ends up paying.

What an achievement. 👏

Small businesses need to stick together and call out policies that simply move costs around and pretend they’ve disappeared.

You haven’t removed the cost. You’ve just changed where it’s hiding.

Thank you thetodayshow for having me on your show today!

It was great to represent so many people and small businesses who are frustrated about the current economy right now.
