Hi everyone, just wanted to give an update on what has been a pretty tough couple of weeks in the shop.
So at the very end of January, we all remember how bad the rain was, well this resulted in the shop being flooded. Although the main shop was mainly untouched, the work shop was under 4-6'' of water and took me nearly 11 hours to bail out. This obviously resulted in damages that that took the rest of the week to dry out and be repaired. The last job of which was new lighting to be installed which happened on the Saturday meaning the week was pretty much a right off.
This brings us to last week, after getting sorted in the workshop, Monday I was ready to go and catch up on the delays that the flooding had caused. However I took ill on the Tuesday. As most of you who know me know I tend to just get on with it, with my attitude being 'I'll walk it off'. Unfortunately not this time. This resulted in me not being able to work and the shop being closed for the back end of last week.
I'm just getting back on my feet now, and hopefully back into the swing of it by the end of this week.
So I just want to apologise for the delay in getting peoples orders completed on time, anyone who has come to the shop to find it closed and has felt they have had a waited journey and the people I have had messages from and haven't replied to. I will be catching up on all of this over this week. I'm hoping with this post giving a little context to how the last few weeks have been and everyone can understand the delays that we have faced.
I'd like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding and support I've received over the last few weeks and look forward to getting everything back on track.
