Happy Monday!!

I was gifted this beautiful old wooden trunk from my Uncle and saw the potential straight away. Looks to be hand made using old materials. One of a kind piece.
I was originally going to keep if for a coffee table/blanket box. I have put a new bottom on it, casters and some better suiting side handles. Unfortunately the stain turned out a bit dark for my liking and I can't bring myself to sand it back again.
So it is up for sale 🙂

Final touches on my tiny kitchen. I really needed more bench space. I was looking for somethimg I could turn into an island bench. Then my mum happened to turn up at my house with an old baby change table that my Uncle had. And asked if I wanted it? It was the perfect piece!. Not to big, nice and tall for a prep bench. And I didn't need to do much to it. Just put some castor wheels on and lower the shelf. I was lucky enough to find a piece of Caesarstone on marketplace that matches my benches for the top, and it was good to go.
Removable top too, so it can be used for breakfast in bed or serving guests outside.

I also put some plastic flower film over the kitchen windows for privacy from the neighbours, but also letting in maximum light. And then I just had to paint the metal frames for that attention to detail 👌🏽

Hello! Hello!

It's definitely been a minute since I have last posted.
After completing my new wooden bed though I just had to show it off. I absolutely love how I turned out. It was previously sitting out in the weather waiting for a tip run. So glad I saved it.
I still have to do the side tables and the dresser to match. But otherwise I have been doing the odd project in-between work and home life. Which I will also share soon. ☺️
