Our Story

At the Melbourne Millinery Hub (Formerly Torb & Reiner), it's all about hats. We supply the newest and most exciting millinery materials because we want to see what you will create! We are always open to answer all questions hat-related. Call us in store any time or send us an email if you want to know more about materials, techniques, or our regular millinery classes. Committed to supporting aspiring milliners. Our staff are members of the Australian Millinery Association. We were a gold sponsor of the 2012 International Millinery Forum in Wagga Wagga. We support mental health support, research and advocacy. We are founders of the Blue Hat Project, Hat Extravaganza, the Little Hat Project and the Hats for Happiness book series. We are sponsors of Hat Day, a mental health charity event organised by Australian Rotary Health. Torb & Reiner founder Waltraud Reiner contributed to development of Certificate IV in Millinery and was a Senior Lecturer at Kangan Batman Tafe for 13 years. The first Certificate II in Millinery was run at Melbourne School of Millinery (founded by Waltraud Reiner).
