As you may know, there are many different timbers currently on the market for food smoking and while they may add a nice flavour to your food, they may contain saps and toxins which can be dangerous to your health. The particular sawdust we are packaging (White Melaleuca) is one of very few timbers that contain non-toxic sap lines. Because of this it is extremely well suited for food smoking. White Melaleuca contains only water veins and we have found it is one of the few timbers which is 100% safe to use in your smoker and still gives a great flavour. Our sawdust is not a by-product of saw-milling. We are dedicated to producing the finest smoking sawdust using only the purest timbers grown in Far North Queensland. Our main focus is to provide a superior product without the expensive price tag.
