BREAKING NEWS: Snow falls in Woy Woy.

Experts remain divided.

Some say it's a once-in-a-lifetime weather event.

Others say it's just me standing in front of a snow machine holding a Hometastic Box.

Either way, winter has officially arrived and our Winter Hometastic Boxes begin shipping this week.

The snow might be fake, but the excitement certainly isn't.

Stephen said he was bored! 🤣🤣

Over the past few weeks we've had new sliding doors installed, steps built to the garden, a new deck balustrade and this lovely tongue and groove feature wall.

Once the tradies had finished, Stephen got stuck into painting the walls and woodwork.

Problem solved.

Of course, it wasn't long before I started adding my own finishing touches.

One of my favourite things about running Ruby's Home Store is seeing your purchases in their new homes.

This carousel is full of beautiful customer photos, starting with this fabulous shot from featuring our Electric Leopard Biscuit Tin by Kasey Rainbow. 🐆

Seeing how you use and enjoy the products you've chosen always makes me smile. Whether they're filled with biscuits, craft supplies, treasures or little bits and pieces, these tins seem to find a hundred different uses.

Creating the Electric Leopard tin with the wonderfully talented Kasey Rainbow was a real pinch-me moment, so it's especially lovely to see it being enjoyed in homes all around Australia. Kasey Rainbow

I had a trip to my local florist looking for something particular....

That pretty much sums me up.

🇬🇧I’m British through and through, which is why Ruby’s Home Store is full of pieces that make me think of home. Union Jacks, William Morris, Cornishware, biscuit tins, proper nostalgic little treasures that remind me of England.

🇦🇺But after nearly 17 years in Australia, this is home too.

I love the sunshine, the space, the lifestyle, my very aussie hubby and the fact that I can still surround myself with the little British comforts that make me smile.

Ruby’s Home Store is really a mix of both parts of me. A love of British memories, wrapped up in a very happy Aussie life.
