Cats and Tarot Tuesday finds us with the Ten of Cups from the Mythic tarot. Psyche and Eros are together after their trials and tribulations and are able to reside in Olympus. The Ten of cups represents secure, peaceful and harmonious relationships after periods of instability and not being sure you'll make it through the trials faced.

Deeper connections, deeper emotions and safer, more satisfying relationships are where things are. While the thrill of the chase or insecurity of pure passion may be past us, the way is paved for deeply rooted experiences; there's no need for superficialty here, we've moved beyond little misunderstandings being drama, there's patience and understanding of one and other. Wanting depth and finally being able to stand still rather than pushing away or running.

Take a deep breath... And then release it. There's no need to feel ready to flee. You're in the right spot and can speak your heart knowing it is being heard.

Sunday oracle features Merlin from the Ascended masters deck. A nice and bright card like today's weather was. This card is asking us to consider energy healing as an answer to the question that is sitting with us at the moment. For me, I should be practising Reiki more often, that may be a message for you also, or any other energetic mode that speaks to you. Or it could be a reminder that we need to refocus our own energy as well towards things that will naturally bring healing; a trip outdoors, or perhaps even rest to reenergise.

New treasure haul alert! Ceramic 3 place incense/smudge/palo santo plates. Coming in blue/teal, red, black and as the Chinese label says, 'white spots'.

These plates are a great way to burn your incense, hold your sage or burn your palo santo safely. I'm sitting here at the moment as a nag champa incense stick is happily burning away on my side table in the loungeroom and am quietly pleased with how it looks and is working.

I realised that you could also burn incense powder in the smaller, (or larger given your tastes), cups you'd place the smudge or palo santo, so I've invented a 4th use! If you wanted a 5th use, drop a charcoal tablet into the bigger cup and sprinkle incense powder on it for a good 45 minute burn if that's what you're after!

Pricing. Ceramic plates on their own are $25. I've also put together a bundle deal that is 10% off compared to individual pricing.

Treasure arrived today, (that stuff I mentioned ages ago), you're going to have to wait for photos though as I had a hospital visit today, so that took up some time. I'll endeavour to get photos done tomorrow and work out little bundle packages etc.

Friday funny: why wait for a date! I'd do a haunted cardigan crawl. You'd get on a bus and tour op shops and then it'd finish at Cardigan Village just outside Ballarat because I believe everyone obviously wears cardigans there.

Cats and Tarot Tuesday finds us with the six of swords from the Tarot de la Nuit. We're being asked to leave things behind with this card. We might not want to but we do have to. Think of it as one door closing and another opening, though at this moment We're still looking at the door that's closed and haven't noticed what's ahead. It is going to be better, at the moment all the feels are stopping us from seeing that. Be sad for what was, look forward to what will be.

Just thought I'd share the unexpected treasure I got today while out and about. Was sitting looking lonely on a shelf it didn't belong on, so it came home to join the books here. 1924 is where you can see the moving version of the art in this book. All hand drawn and animated as well. My kunzea tea by Roogenic adding warmth and a little relief to some of my bones.

Cats and Tarot Tuesday finds Sita from the Hindu epic Ramayana representing the two of swords. Card was reversed but I photograph upright.

Known for her strength, courage and virtue, Sita is depicted here caught between two choices. Weighing up which way she is going to go. The water in the background let's us know the heart, (emotions), are involved and the Moon means intuition needs to be accessed. This is not just a hard headed choice. Her eyes are closed because she can't see her way through at the moment.

In reverse, the card is looking inside us. The turmoil is within, we're really not sure which is the best choice. It's going to take a bit longer to sort through where we actually head. How does each choice make us feel? Can we see the outcomes for each choice and where we could end up? Concentrate on what you'll gain rather than others as we're looking inward.

We're being asked to sit with the choices before taking steps, it's daunting because of the what ifs, but that's why there's the pause for now; a chance to really sort through what's best for us before making that move.
