DAY 1
FIND THE FIT — One Day Fitting Workshop

Stop guessing. Start investigating.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to identify why a garment isn’t fitting correctly and work out the alteration needed using my Find the Fit Method.

You won’t just watch—you’ll practise each technique yourself using mini pattern pieces. Cut, pivot, slash, spread and adjust your way through common fitting problems, then add each completed alteration to your Find the Fit Resource Guide.

By the end of the day, you’ll have built your own fitting reference library to take home and use whenever you need it.

Learn it. Make it. Keep it. Use it again.

The goal isn’t to memorise every alteration, but to learn how to investigate fit and confidently solve problems on your own patterns.

DAY 2
WORKING WITH STRETCH
Get confident sewing with stretch!

Stretch fabrics can feel tricky, but once you understand how they behave and the right techniques to use, they open up a whole new world of sewing.

In this workshop, you’ll make a basic knit top while learning the essential skills for working confidently with stretch fabrics from start to finish.

We’ll cover how to choose and cut stretch fabrics, the best stitches and settings for sewing seams, and how to handle your fabric without stretching it out of shape. You’ll then practise techniques for creating polished, professional-looking finishes including hemming, creating a faux coverstitch finish and binding a neckline.

By the end of the day, you’ll not only have a finished knit top to take home, but the skills and confidence to tackle your next stretch project on your own.
