Kitchen to Table was established in November 2007 and continues to provide an exciting retail experience for both locals and visitors with everything you need from yo

u kitchen to table. Scott & Meredith Morschel share a love of good food and quality kitchenware products. This stems from an earlier career in the hospitality industry, both working in large 5 star hotels and later owning and operating a successful café on the Northern Beaches in Sydney. After moving to Yamba and identifying a need for a dedicated kitchenware shop we decided to open Kitchen to Table. The aim was to provide a one-stop shop for quality kitchenware, tableware and cookware. We are a stockist of Kitchen Aid, and have recently been selected as the only independent kitchenware store on the North Coast to stock the ‘platinum’ Kitchen Aid range. The ‘platinum’ range represents bright metallic colours that will make a statement in your kitchen. We stock a wide range of products from gadgets, tableware, bakeware, pot and pans and knives. If you need it in the kitchen, we most likely have what you are looking for. In the kitchen, we support quality brands such as Raco, Baccarat and Essteele and Le Creuset. In our gadgets department you will find innovative products by Zyliss, Dream Farm, Microplane and Cuisena, just to name a few. Leading brand, Maxwell and Williams, is a mainstay of our business. The ever popular White Basics and Cashmere ranges are well represented in store. To mix things up we bring in seasonal ranges to add a splash of colour and interest. This brand is affordable and diverse. Table linen is by Linen & Moore and is superior in quality and design. We offer a wide selection of colours, sizes and designs. We service the following area: Grafton, New South Wales Au, Far North Coast, New South Wales Au, Yamba, New South Wales Au

Berrima ~ We had the pleasure of meeting Lynn of who gave us a really interesting and informative tour through the village of Berrima.

Berrima is a unique and historic village, established in 1831, and is the only example of an existing and largely preserved Australian Georgian colonial town. {Source: St Paul’s Moss Vale website}

One of the favourite stops on the tour was the bronze sculpture of Charlotte Atkinson, who was the first Australian author of children’s books and a big supporter of women’s education and rights 📚✊. Charlotte came to Australia from England in the 1800’s to be a governess for the Macarthur family, and met her grazier husband on the boat voyage. They married and had four children, but soon after the birth of their fourth child, he died.
Charlotte, known for her adventurous spirit, challenged conventions by fighting for the right to raise her children and secure financial support after her husband’s passing. She even won custody of her children after a landmark court battle.

We also learnt about the history of Berrima’s courthouse, gaol, Anglican and Catholic chapels, the design of the homes and the central market place.

Back in its heyday Berrima had 11 inns, where travellers could stop for a meal, refreshments, and a place to rest themselves and their animals. The Surveyor General Inn is the oldest continuously licensed Inn in Australia, established in 1834.

After our tour, we stopped for coffee and cupcakes at the gorgeous

If you find yourself in The Southern Highlands, we can highly recommend a visit to Berrima. Be sure to contact Lynn about a tour , and allow time for coffee and cake.

Our day at Moonacres Cooking School and farm, in Robertson in The Southern Highlands, was a wonderful experience.
We were so inspired by Phil Laver’s informative and interesting farm tour, followed by the most delicious home baked morning tea, by the delightful Maryann who is the operations manager at the school.
We then returned to the fabulous cooking school and I led the group through a 3 course lunch. I designed the menu based around n the produce i could source from the farm, along with sharing techniques and ideas that will be handy for winter cooking.

Scott and I have been blessed with a fabulous group who are a delight to travel with.

A short explanation of each photo:
1. Me and the rhubarb, apple and raspberry hand pies, using sour cream short crust.
2. In action
3.The delightful Maryann and her morning tea spread
4. Maryann and I in the tea shed at Moonacres farm
5. Sampling fennel with Phil Lavers, founder of Moonacres
6. Kiwi fruit on the vine
7. A thoughtful sentiment on the wall in the farm’s tea room
8. Incredible produce from Moonacres Farm - Cavolo Nero, fennel and rhubarb
9. A roasted pumpkin soup with Thai flavours
10. Caramelised fennel
11. Pork cutlet with lentils
12. A short video of our pork, fennel and roasted Robertson potatoes
13. The table is set
14. Early morning - our beautiful accommodation for the past 3 nights.

We’re heading to Port Stephens tonight to stay at Bannisters and enjoy a farewell dinner at Rick Stein’s.

How lucky are we to have spent a fabulous time discovering regional NSW in autumn, a perfect time to visit these areas. Highly recommend a good road trip!

Have a wonderful day 💕

Catching our breath in the stunning Atlas Mountains! The higher peaks had been dusted with snow just a few days before we arrived, adding to the drama of this beautiful landscape.

This is the perfect place to take a couple of days to relax after the hustle and bustle of the city. We hiked in the mountains and local villages, had a hammam (traditional Moroccan steam bath and scrub), and breathed in the fresh mountain air.
It’s always hard to leave this gorgeous place but the sights and sounds of Marrakech are beckoning!

Desert dreams…a night in the Agafay desert is a wonderful experience. The big sky and wide open spaces is the perfect backdrop for a sunset camel ride. Our tagine dinner and glamping tents are very special too! 🐪⛺️🤎

Autumn in Fes … our stroll through the food market gave us a sense of the seasonal produce available at this time of year.

The colours and textures of the market are a sight to see. There was lots of locally grown vegetables and fruits on offer, along with goat cheese in raffia baskets, and a rooster pecking up some stray crumbs.

The sound of hammers beating against metal signaled we’d arrived in the copper souk. Beautiful pieces of cookware and serving ware were being crafted by hand.

It’s one of my favourite things to visit the markets to see the locals going about their daily lives.

A mix of photos from the group as we all capture different things.
