Bobo’s Bakehouse has found a new home!!
When PAMS closed its doors last month Chloe put the call out and The Green Shed Yeppoon answered. They are now fully stocked. Dont forget to check out what else they have on offer.
Western wear, home brew supplies, garden and livestock supplies and so much more. Another great local business needing our support so pop down and check it out!!

PAM FURNISHINGS WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKYOU TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR THEIR PATRONAGE AND SUPPORT OVER THE LAST 36YEARS. IN THIS TIME THERE HAS BEEN MANY CHANGES (ALTHOUGH MARGARET DIDN’T LIKE CHANGE) AND MANY EMPLOYEES HAVE COME AND GONE BUT THE ONES THAT LASTED AND STAND OUT ARE GAVIN, NICOLE & JOSH.

GAVIN GAVE OVER 15YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE TO THIS LOCAL FAMILY BUSINESS ALWAYS HELPING WHEN HE COULD. GAV STARTED AS A CASUAL ON DELIVERIES AND FILLING IN FOR BETTA WHEN IT WAS NEXT DOOR. HE PROGRESSED TO THE SHOP FLOOR WHICH HE WAS NOT KEEN ON BUT ADAPTED WELL TO HIS SALES POSITION/DRIVER AND THEN IN RECENT YEARS TOOK ON THE MANAGERS ROLE AND DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB.
THANKYOU FOR YOUR SERVICE GAV.

NICOLE STARTED AS A CASUAL JUST AFTER CYCLONE MARCIA (NOT PUSHY ENOUGH WAS MARAGARETS WORDS) BUT SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PASSIVE SALESPERSON KNOWING THAT PEOPLE LEFT THE STORE HAPPY WITH THEIR PURCHASE. EVENTUALLY BECOMING THE MAIN BUYER (OF ALL THE GOOD STUFF) AND CO-MANAGING (UNOFFICIALLY) WITH GAVIN TO BUILD INTO A DESTINATION STORE FOR LOCALS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY. HER BIGGEST AND MOST FAVOURITE ACHEIVEMENT WAS THE XMAS DISPLAY SHE WORKED ON FROM ONE YEAR TO THE NEXT CREATING OUR VERY OWN ‘MYERS WINDOW’ RIGHT HERE IN LITTLE OLD YEPPOON.

JOSH HAS ALSO BEEN A CRUCIAL PART OF THE TEAM LEAVING ALL OUR “DELIVERY” CUSTOMERS HAPPY WITH HIS “ABOVE AND BEYOND” ATTITUDE AND THAT INFECTIOUS LAUGH.

GAVIN AND NICOLE WOULD LIKE TO THANK TONY, MARGARET AND PAULA FOR GIVING THEM THE FREDOM TO GROW THE BUSINESS TO WHAT IT WAS AT THE END.

NICOLE WILL MISS WORKING ALONG SIDE “HER LITTLE BROTHER” BUT WILL CONTINUE TO CATCH UP AS HER AND GAV HAVE BECOME GREAT FRIENDS. NICOLE HAS SAID SHE WILL MISS WORKING “HER DREAM JOB”

GAV WONT MISS NICOLE BOSSING HIM AROUND BUT I AM SURE HE HAS ALWAYS RESPECTED HER “OPINION” 😊 AND HE CERTAINLY WONT MISS CALLING JOSH OF A MORNING TO MAKE SURE HE IS AWAKE.
