It felt like time to try something a bit bold. I have added a bigger red and black aluminium tree to the Corrugated Farm shop. The blue and red together are a pretty striking pair.

Shop day today at Corrugated Farm . I have been given a whole stand for my creations. It's mind blowingly exciting and daunting. And just the biggest honour. I create every day, and it is so nice to have somewhere to put my work and have people enjoy and appreciate it. Hopefully, someone can find their perfect Valentines gift in this amazing shop!

It's so exciting when your husband comes home from a garage sale trip with beads!! These wooden beads were so pretty!! I couldn't wait to use them. The caravan park we are staying at has grown a new tree!

It's been a very quiet day in the shop today, but I added a few pieces and these 2 new additions. I've not done a small Boab yet, so that's a bit fun, and I've wanted to put the Chakra trees together for a while. We are off on holidays soon, so I won't be making much until February, but saying that, I'm still always twisting away. # Corrugated Farm

It's that time of yeah when I get to collage the main creations of the year. It didn't feel like there were many, but i was definitely always working on something. There were 2 more tricky creations the second I haven't photographed yet. I'll post it before today ends. I attempted one tree postage interstate, and I was pretty disappointed by how it arrived. It has been a slow creative year, and I haven't really felt it. Next year my babies are both full-time at school so who knows where my art will go. I did get an easel for Christmas!

I hope everyone had a good 2024, and if it wasn't what they had hoped for, I hope 2025 has some more wins and good health.

It's a very, very hot day in the shop today but it's feeling very festive. I've set up a bit of an ornament Christmas tree. They are such handy presents that last forever. Our teachers from this year have even got one for their special thank you present.
It's the last day of the school year today. I'm really looking forward to evenings in the garden while the kids play at the end of a hot day. Hopefully, the fights are few, and we can make some lovely memories over the summer break. Corrugated Farm

Some trees take a bit longer than others, and commissioned trees are those trees. It must be something to do with not wanting to deliver anything but the best. Also, trees I'm less familiar with, I struggle with a bit. This copper boab, I hope, is a welcome addition to their home. They didn't want a base, so that meant I put in a little extra time in the underside. I know they won't be storing or displaying it upside down, but it just didn't feel finished. Commissions with a due date are definitely easier than the "whenever it's ready" ones. Next project here I come! I've actually got old some of the old thick copper I started learning this art with because they just scream "Marri" to me, and I need a wise old tree in my life at the moment for some reason.
