Based in Sarajevo, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Wool Fabrique's products are made by women who have revived and now perpetuate age-old handicraft techniques. We try to improve these women's lives, by giving them a steady income for the magnificent weaving and knitting that they make for Wool Fabrique. The creative act of interpreting our designs requires a great deal of concentration, precise gestures a

nd patience.With the patina of time our objects become even more beautiful.

Wool Fabrique a remis au goĂ»t du jour des techniques ancestrales de tissage afin de donner vie aux crĂ©ations de Maya Bekto, fondatrice de la marque. Tapis, coussins, paniers, cubes de rangement...Tous les modĂšles de Wool Fabrique sont toujours uniques car entiĂšrement tissĂ©s ou tricotĂ©s Ă  la main en pure laine vierge, en Bosnie-HerzĂ©govine. Avec la patine du temps, ces objets seront encore plus beaux et plus prĂ©cieux ! Wool Fabrique tente d’amĂ©liorer la vie d'une trentaine de femmes, en leur apportant un revenu stable grĂące au magnifique travail de tissage et de tricot qu’elles accomplissent. C’est un acte de crĂ©ation et d’interprĂ©tation de dessins qui demande une grande concentration, une prĂ©cision de geste, et de la patience. Wool Fabrique est soutenu par le programme des Nations Unies pour le dĂ©veloppement.
