🚨 LONG POST ALERT🚨
Hi all. I know I've been MIA for a while. I had been having issues with tendonitis in my right thumb and was unable to crochet for months. But I've resumed and I've worked on a few things so far this year. Trying not to overdo.
And I know this is a weird pic to post here but here's why. This picture was taken five years ago today, during the volcanic ash fall from the Soufriere volcano. My anxiety was at its peak and I desperately needed something to keep my mind occupied. I remembered I had crochet needles that I got (read took) from my mom and some yarn and I started to do the basics that my mom taught me. Then I resorted to YouTube to learn some more. And now here I am five years later with a whole side hustle.
Sometimes it takes a low moment for us to understand our purpose. So thanks to all of you who supported and encouraged me and continue to do so. I'll try to be better with posting this year 🙃
