A royal prelude.
This wedding card box is not just an invitation, but a journey through art, Islamic heritage and togetherness. From meaningful prints to curated favours — each layer holds a special memory for the most cherished ones.
The verse from the Quran (Surah Ar-Rum 30:21) emphasizes that companionship, affection, and mercy in marriage are divine signs. The wedding invitation box is inspired by the concept of the Gardens of Jannah, symbolizing harmony and spiritual union. It highlights the sacred significance of the number 4 — representing the 4 rivers (Milk, Honey, Wine, Water), 4 fruits (Pomegranate, Date, Fig, Olive), and 4 precious gems (Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald) mentioned in the Quran.
Inspired by the Gardens of Jannah, the box, opens into four chambers, each holding a traditional Bengali wedding symbol: henna, turmeric, dates, and a memento. A muslin print flows through the box, representing a serene stream in Mughal style, hand-painted by rickshaw artists. The design merges Bengal’s Islamic heritage with the peaceful essence of paradise, symbolizing sacred love and the spiritual journey of marriage.
