Surjomukhi Surjomukhi is a fair trade organisation. SURJOMUKHI is producing Play Costumes, Mask, Gift Items etc. A large proportion of them are women with families.

Surjomukhi Handicrafts was established in 1994 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is a Fair Trade Organization which is producing a variety of play products, toys and gift items in textile using its own designers and trained artisans. From the outset, one of its main aims is to provide a stable and gainful source of employment for members of underprivileged rural tribes and lower class of the society. With

Surjomukhi they can earn a regular monthly income and have the option of working from home, combining their work with raising their children. It is hoped that, once trained, they will be able to pass on their skills to others in the community.
