Moments like this remind us what hospitality architecture should really be about. It is never about trying to tame the land or making the loudest statement. It takes time, patience, and genuine restraint to listen to a site - its history, its quiet presence, and the way the earth breathes.

In a dense, overpopulated country, designing especially for tourism spaces is a completely different battle. It’s so easy to overbuild, crowd the land, and destroy the very peace people are searching for...

We dream of shifting the mindset, with restraint, taste, and respect for the land, we can still create pockets of true stillness.

ঋতু গুলোর রূপ দেখতেই তো গ্রামে যাবেন, তাইনা? তাহলে যদি ঝুম বর্ষাই টের না পান, শীতের রাতে আগুন না তাপান, গ্রামে কেন যাবেন? বৈঠক তো শুধু আত্বীয়ের সাথে নয় - আলাপ হবে পাখির সাথে, সন্তানের সাথে বেড়ে ওঠা গাছের সাথে, দক্ষিণ- পূর্বের বাতাসের সাথে। ডানের খোলা ঘরটার নাম তাই আমরা দিয়েছি 'বাতাস ঘর'। রান্নাঘর থেকে আছে ধানক্ষেত-পুকুর আর সব্জির বাগানের 'ইনফিনিট ভিউ'। অর্ধেকের বেশি জায়গা আমরা ছেড়ে দিয়েছি বাগানের জন্য। ফেলে আসা শৈসবের উঠান কালচারের আর নস্টালজিয়ার সাথে পরিচয় হোক পরের প্রজন্মের।

A new landmark is taking shape on the Dhaka Chattogram Highway. Cross Roads: Charge & Chill is envisioned as more than an EV charging station. It is a premium highway destination where sustainable mobility meets exceptional hospitality.

Powered by Hyper Charging fast chargers, travellers can recharge their vehicles while enjoying freshly brewed specialty coffee, fabulous kebabs, and a carefully curated continental menu in an elegant dining environment. Every stop is designed to be a memorable experience.

Sustainability is woven into every design decision. Rooftop solar harvesting generates clean energy, a green roof garden reduces heat gain while creating a relaxing retreat, and a rainwater harvesting system captures and reuses water for landscape irrigation. Most importantly, the existing jackfruit orchard surrounding the site has been carefully preserved, allowing the architecture to grow within nature rather than replacing it.

A destination where good food, clean energy, and thoughtful design come together.

From the Archives: Navigating Market Volatility through Design.

Designing a project is one challenge; navigating the economic realities of construction is another. Our 2021 proposal for a residence and urban farm in Uttara, titled "The Chicken House," serves as a stark reminder of the volatile 2021-22 fiscal year.

Following extensive research into free-range farming to meet the client's unique brief, we delivered a complete design and budget. However, the subsequent global supply chain crises and inflation saw domestic material prices—particularly rods and cement—increase by nearly 40%. These uncontrollable macroeconomic factors unfortunately rendered the original budget unfeasible, stalling the project.

Architecture is deeply tied to economics. While this project wasn't realized physically, it remains a valuable case study in our portfolio of innovative urban concepts.
