Here's an analysis of the two bedroom layouts, labeled A and B, focusing on the circulation and overall arrangement:
Overall Dimensions:
Width: 4267 mm
Length: 5182 mm
Layout A:
Walk-in Closet: Located at the top left, with an entrance facing the bedroom space.
Bathroom: Positioned at the top right, accessible from the bedroom. It includes a sink, toilet, and bathtub.
Bedroom Area: A queen bed is placed with its head against the wall between the walk-in closet and the bathroom. There are side tables on both sides of the bed.
Storage Drawers: Situated on the left-hand side of the bedroom space, next to the entrance of the walk-in closet.
Work Space: Positioned along the left wall, between the storage drawers and the window.
Window 1 & 2: One on each side of the room.
Circulation in Layout A:
The movement from the bedroom to the walk-in closet, bathroom, storage drawers, and workspace all stem from one main area surrounding the bed.
The layout provides clear paths to the main areas, making the space fairly organized.
Layout B:
Walk-in Closet: Located at the top left, with its entrance facing the bedroom space, same as in Layout A.
Bathroom: Positioned at the top right, but has a slightly different orientation and layout inside compared to Layout A.
Bedroom Area: The queen bed is against the wall shared with the bathroom. The bed is oriented to face the doorway of the room. There is a side table on one side of the bed, and a pouf on the other.
Arm Chair: Positioned against the wall near window 1
Storage Drawers: Situated on the left-hand side of the bedroom, but positioned differently than in Layout A
Work Space: Located along the side of the room between the storage drawers and the pouf,
Window 1 & 2: One on each side of the room, as in layout A.
Circulation in Layout B:
The main circulation path goes from the entryway to the bed, and to the other parts of the room.
The bedroom provides access to the closet and bathroom, with access to the workspace
The layout is less open than in A, with a less open path from the entry to the bed.
Comparison and "Which is Better and Why?":
Layout A: This layout offers a more open and straight path to the bed from the entry. The workspace is tucked away behind the storage drawers and creates a more secluded feel. This one has a more straightforward feel to it.
Layout B: This layout places the bed as the main focal point upon entry, which can be desirable to some. It has a slightly less defined work area, but it provides an armchair instead.
Which is better is a matter of preference
If you like a more traditional flow, Layout A might be more ideal. It is simpler, and perhaps more straightforward.
If you like a layout that emphasizes the bed as the main area in the room, then Layout B might be better for you. It also includes an arm chair for additional space to relax.
