There’s something about autumn that makes me want to fill every tiny corner with apples, pumpkins, grapes and all the beautiful abundance of the season. 🍎

I started with these teeny-tiny apples, adding different shades to the leaves and all those little details that somehow take much longer to paint than you’d expect. 😄

Slowly, my miniature world is getting ready for autumn. What absolutely has to be included in a tiny autumn harvest? 🍎🎃

Getting the tiny cottage ready for autumn 🍂🏡

Good thing this little kitchen bench has actual storage… because apparently even a 1:12 home needs somewhere to keep all its seasonal decorations. 😂

Today I'm decorating another cushion for my English Cottage Collection using the same technique as my square pillows. A little Vallejo Decal Fix, Decal Softener, and some gentle shaping completely transform a simple 3D print into a cozy miniature cushion.

In my latest tutorial, I'm sharing how I create these cozy dollhouse cushions using custom water slide decals, Vallejo Decal Fix, and Vallejo Decal Softener to achieve a realistic fabric look on 3D printed miniatures. It's a simple technique that completely transforms the finished piece!

Tiny details make the biggest difference.

Instead of painting fabric, I created custom water slide decals to wrap this miniature cushion. Using Vallejo Decal Fix and Vallejo Decal Softener, the decal settles into every curve and even the little button in the center, creating the look of real upholstery.

It's one of my favourite techniques for bringing dollhouse furniture to life.
