The BMW headquarters for the BELUX region in Bornem was in need of a thorough renovation.⁠
By creating a “daylight gallery” within the existing warehouse through the removal of part of the roof and a section of the facades, a new entrance to the existing office building was created. ⁠
PUUR designed the complete interior by starting from the building's existing structures and leaving them ‘honestly’ exposed. This creates an impressive space that allows for all types of future use.⁠
Through a tender using a Design and Build formula, we won the contract, together with contractor STRABAG Belgium, ⁠ Van Aelst - Nguyen & Partners Architecture Consulting and OMGEVING to transform the current site into a vibrant campus.⁠

We’re proud to share that the HQ offices of Vivaldis designed by PUUR has been longlisted for the Architectura Awards.⁠
For this project, we transformed a 1980s office building in Antwerp into a warm and welcoming headquarters inspired by the atmosphere of a boutique hotel. By combining hospitality, sustainability and workplace design, we aimed to create an environment centered around connection, comfort and well-being.⁠
