Another snowday

With heavy hearts, we share that last week, on Saturday, Geert’s brother passed away.

In 2013, we lost Geert’s father, which put our family on an emotional rollercoaster that, it turns out, we are still on. We faced a major setback in 2015, and over the years we have continued to move forward, carrying both loss and resilience with us. In November 2025, we received the devastating news of Geert’s brother’s terminal illness, and last week he left us.

Dear Dad, please take good care of your eldest son; he will be in safe hands. As a family, we will miss him dearly. Apologies for any delayed responses or absences. Thank you for your understanding.
